City Century Luxury Condominiums

Larsen Zienkiewicz consulted on a $85 million development project in South Park, a popular neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles. The architecturally complex 250-foot tower presented a variety of design nuances, and challenged our team to think big.

Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center

HMC Architects contracted Larsen Zienkiewicz to consult on a 51,000 square foot expansion and renovation project on the Kaiser Permanente medical center in Woodland Hills. The project presents our team with an abundance of enclosure systems and complex transitions to the existing facility that will be achieved with a new seismic expansion joint. The $120 million expansion project includes LEED-certified addition and renovations to the emergency department and operating rooms.

Hotel Sherman Oaks

The 96-room Hotel Sherman Oaks includes a pool on its amenity deck, just one of the enclosure challenges Ramcal Management, Inc. contracted Larsen Zienkiewicz to handle. The $14 million, 47,000 square foot project begins construction in mid-2017.

A historic building built in the early twentieth century, the three-story Rapt Studio presented us with a different kind of challenge—renovating and protecting a building with a legacy.

The Faculty Center, UCLA

The University of California brought us on-board to investigate the existing roof enclosures of the Faculty Center, a complex of buildings dating to 1957. The university asked for options, and we will provide detailed recommendations for their replacement after conducting a comprehensive condition assessment investigation.

Skyline Condominiums

The Skyline Condominiums Homeowners Association contracted our investigation services to explore the roof condition, propose a repair/replacement strategy, and provide roof replacement design services for their complex comprised of a 15-story high rise residential tower and lower level amenity structures, each of type I-A construction.
